Tirapazamine, Paclitaxel & Carboplatin
This ride is a quick education...a short time ago, I didn't know any of these words and now I am on an intimate basis with them. One week ago, I had my first chemo treatment, which is part of a clinical trial for Tirapazamine. I tolerated the treatment well, but was naive about what fatigue means. However, I woke with…

Hi all! I am a 4 year breast cancer survivor. I had a bone scan last year which showed a small mass in my ribs of unknown origin. I repeated the scan a couple weeks ago, and the spot is still there...a little larger, with a considerable increase in uptake. My oncologist has referred me to a chest surgeon for a bone…

I have known a lot of other lung cancer survivors, but have no experience with your problem. If you can get to major research/treatment facility such as MD Anderson or Sloan Kettering you might get the help you need

Need information--CT scan results today.
Had my left upper lobe removed on 4/8/02. Cancer was stage 1, had no radiation or chemo. CT scan last week was to check another nodule in right lung that was too small to diagnose and to keep an eye on it. That nodule is still there and looks the same, but another nodule was found, it's 2 cm. Anyone heard the term pleural…

After five chemo treatments the tumor has shrunk 70%. My Doctors are very pleased cause they only hoped to stop its growth. I was told it can be used as long as I respond to…
