Immunotherapy does work
Although this is concerning breast cancer it still has an impact on Colorectal cancer. Our bodies can kill cancer cells once it knows what they are. http://www.thejakartapost.com/life/2018/06/05/immunotherapy-cures-late-stage-breast-cancer-in-world-first-study.html

Fear
horrible dreadful fear. That’s all I have felt since finding out about my husband’s bile duct tumors. Fear for him, for me being without him, and my kids. How do you keep going without that? Does anyone have any words of wisdom to snap me out of this? Has anything helped you? This for me seems like the first time we have…

Why I won't be posting for a week - Non-Cancer related
I will be 'missing in action' over the coming week, and I'll tell you why. I was abandoned at birth and adopted at two. I did find out who my biological mother was, (never have met her and no desire); but no father on the brith certificare, so I figured I would NEVER know. Fast forward 60 years. I did one of those DNA…

Salad Days
Technically, I guess, “salad days” refers to the carefree days of youth. But I have been thinking about the term lately and personally define it as “a worry-free good time.” Many on this blog have commented about wanting their old lives back, or adjusting to the new normal. And pretty much, the new normal entails thinking…

I just wanted to say hello. My husband was just diagnosed this week with malignant mass in his colon; discovered on a colonoscopy at 49 years old. He had a CT scan the next day which did not show mets to liver or lungs. Surgical consult was yesterday and he said the mass is in the sigmoid colon. That's all I know at this…

Suspecting peripheral nerve damage after colorectal surgery ...
Hello to everyone here ... It was on the 3rd of December 2015 when I underwent my right hemicolectomy operation, here in Ayrshire, Scotland; that was the day that I lost most of my sense of balance. Over the time since then, two years and eight months, I have experience the feeling of being permanently "drunk", with the…

My husband has a tumor in his bile duct
i just can’t deal anymore, he was doing so well. He just had a liver resection in May i don’t understand how they didn’t see this, or how it got there so fast. CEA spike
Dear all. New to the forum here. My dad's CEA has been around 6 ng/ml since his colon resection in Jan '17. He refused Chemo after the surgery not only for quality of life reasons but also because it was "only Stage 2". His last CEA test earlier this week nearly doubled to 12 ng/ml from the only 6 months prior. The doctor…

Questions on LDN and Lufe Expectancy
Hi All, Has anyone heard of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) treatment here in the US? A nurse at work suggested I look into it when it was prescribed for a co-worker. Although the initial study into it was done by a doctor in the US, Internet searches seem to indicate that published treatment mostly resides in the UK. Any info…

Leakage...
Hi, My husband is experiencing “anal leakage” in the form of mucous and coffee ground-like stool. I tried getting Depends and he refuses to wear them, saying it’s uncomfortable. My husband has a blockage in his bile duct
