My lovely mom
I followed all the posts here for a very long time. What a wonderful community and support system you all represent. My mother lived with Stage IV mets to liver, lungs, and omentum for 4 years. She had wild-type kras and responded repeatedly to eributux mixed protocols. She had a robust love for life, and never let this cc…

The Sundance Channel: “Redefining the Definition of Family”
Well, after the funeral was over, we decided to go home and change clothes and see what we wanted to do that evening – as a family. My nephew wanted us to go to dinner at a local diner that they go to, when they go out. It’s called the Sportsmen Club and the prices are very reasonable, if not downright friendly. It was…

We all need encouragement for where we are,but you may all live to 90 like I expect to. If I don't, make it that far, so what. Iv'e had a long full life,…

Question about Diagnosis
I have a question. I see a lot of people on here that said when they were diagnosed the doctors gave them a time frame to expect to live. When my mom was diagnosed in June they did not give her a time frame ? Is this normal ? If her situation was grim would the head of oncology tell my dad and family ? I am curious because…

Cancer number
We are new to this and I was wondering what your thoughts are. My husbands cancer number was 3600 when this started in June and last week they came back at 580. That is after 3 treatments of folfox. I know it is far from where we want to be but is this kind of a response a good sign so early on in this?
