It's another day in Holland, dear family...good morning!
I woke this morning to mist so thick I could barely see out the door. But then, thru the fog, I spied a bit of movement! It was two bunnies running and playing and chasing each other!!!! They could see just fine with each other's help...and safely under the cover of mist from predators always lurking! It rained hard…

Rare Opportunity to meet a Fellow CSN member
As much as we are a family here, most of us have never met face to face. We may live close or far apart and the opportunity is just not there. But I am going to meet Sonia face to face! We live a continent away but will have the chance to meet up in London in about a month. I could not be happier about this. I cannot wait…

My mom recently diagnosed
My family and I planned a huge Thanksgiving celebration, with all sides of the family this year. We were so excited, rented a small place and planned a huge family event. My mom cooked her food items, then had a terrible stomach ache. My dad took her to the ER. They were gone awhile so my sisters and I left and went to the…

good news and bad news
I'm asking you to join me in prayer for Pam Berg, a family friend in Madison, WIS. Her husband, Mike, died this morning from brain cancer. He had been in hospice since New year's day. He fought it for a long time. When Mike and I could fish together, people would liken us to the characters in the movie Grumpy Old Men. I…

New Year
I haven't posted for a while as both my sons were home for the Christmas holidays, and I just felt like pretending that I really don't have stage IV cancer. Am I crazy or what? Anyway, holidays were wonderful. Ate too much so I guess I'll just keep adding to the 30 lbs. I've gained since this whole cancer crap began. No…
