Stage IV stomach cancer but spread to the outside of the colon
My father was diagnosed with stomach cancer back in March. His stomach cancer reacted well to the clinical trial of chemo; however, the tumor on the outside of the colon did not. Since the diagnosis it has mildly enlarged. After all the chemo his body is very depleted. He cannot have any more chemo until he gets stronger…

I have rectal cancer with mets to a couple of distant lymph nodes. If I were to get a met on my liver, could they use targeted radiation to get rid of it ? I don't know if the infected lymph nodes rule it out.

New poster here and thankful to find this outlet. My 69 year old mother, my lifeline, was diagnosed with rectal cancer three days ago. Our family has been thrown for a loop. Nasty drug reaction
Guys I was having some nerve problems a while back and was taking surplus percocet that was about to expire to cool me down. Burning and spasm while urinating
Good morning to all survivors. Just found out I have a bladder infection. I am not sure how I got it. It might have been too much epsom salt in my sitz baths. Anyway, it would burn and spasm right towards the end of urinating. My first time to wee wee in the cup showed no infection. The second time did show up positive. I…

Two questions in one post... First...how long does it USUALLY take if you're having radiation and chemo before you "get sick"? I know everyone's going to be different but just wondering. And second if you or someone you care for has taken it...can you tell me some of your experiences with Xeloda(5FU)? and what do you think…

Round and round we go
They did find a small mass in my frontal lobe. The onc sent me to a nerological surgeon who looked at my MRI and said it is not consistent with a metastatic legion because there is absolutely no fluid or swelling around it. That is great news except that the neuro surgeon said it does not explain any of the symptoms I am…
