She was diagnosed two months before I was - a was colon cancer 3A. She never smoked and did everything you are supposed to do, healthwise.…

Blood in stool still?
My husband was diagnosed stage 3b colon cancer 11-30-07. He has completed 10 of 12 Folfox treatments. Over this weekend he had blood in his stool. Is this common and why now? Also, why would one become more anxious and/or depressed toward then end of treatment. It is surely understandable, but so close to the end I am in a…

Roller Coaster
Hi all, I am new to this site; have been encouraged by reading your messages. This is such an upbeat group; I tried another site and found it more depressing than I already was. I was dx with colon ca stage 2, no node involvement in 2004. Had surgery; no chemo. Thought all was going well until this year when they found a…

First, I would like to thank all who have replied to my post about my brother, Mark. Mark has been battling colon cancer for nearly four years. OK CT scan
I got the results of my latest scan and things are stable at this time. That is good since I had more tumors grow and develop on the Folfiri. I have also done 16 rounds of Folfox before that. Dx. 6/06 Stage IV with mets to liver(inoperable, too many) An interesting thing on the scan results says that there are so many mets…

fatigue 1 year later?
My husband had surgery in May 07 for stage 3 CC, folfox chemo July-Dec., and it's now one year later, and he has such fatigue I worry. He does have neuropathy and takes Neurontin for it, plus Warfarin for a clot he developed. My question is I'm wondering about the fatigue. It seems any bit of normal activity does him in…
