PAIN IN RIGHT KNEE
I'm hoping someone can give me some advice, remedy, suggestions on how to alleviate some of the pain in my right knee. I started Arimidex on January 5, 2011 along with a daily dose of vitamin D (1200 units) and calicum (1000mg). For the past couple of weeks I've noticed my knee beginning to ache more and more. I have a…

halfway through rads today
11 days down, 11 more to go. But let me tell you, this twice a day stuff is pretty tedious. My skin is doing pretty good so far, only red and a little itchy. And the expected fatigue has kicked in. But when those 11 days are done, I will be done with treatments and will only have follow up stuff to deal with. Hugs and…

Question about pain with Taxol ?
I just finished up my chemo ( YAHOO ! ) on the 28th of Feb. I started chemo in mid October - I had 4 treatments of A/C and 12 treatments of Taxol. I've also had to have nulasta shots ( 3 sequential days ) after each Taxol treatment due to low white counts. The nulasta pain seems to be gone, but the Taxol pain is awful. (…

Discovery and Space Station
I know this isn't directly related to BC but I feel I need to at least write about my feelings now. I am so thankful for all that science has given to so many areas of our lifes - especially health issues. Just a little bit ago I bundled up (it's 2F here) to go out and watch the Space Station pass overhead followed a few…

A Question
I'm having trouble finding a bra that fits. I had reconstuction Oct.29, 2010. My old bra size is too small. The main problem is I need a bigger size around but once you get past a 42 the cups start losing padding I need to even things out. Any suggestions? I hope this made since. Janie

Neupogen shots at home
Hi, all. So, with 4 weekly rounds of Taxol to go, my white blood cells decided to take a dive and now I am getting Neupogen shots twice each week. Instead of going to my oncologist's office, we got them through our prescription drug plan and yesterday my husband gave me the first one at home! Have to say, he's a little too…

implants are too low
I went to my PS and he said my foobs are too low. They do sometimes bother my ribs. The procedure is called thoracoabdominal flap procedure. My understanding is that they go through the mast. scar and attach something (maybe the pocket) to the rib cage. PS said it is a very painful surgery (Yah). I was wondering has anyone…

Junk swap ladies & anyone else...
I'd love to send you SNOW! We got 2 ft overnight. What a nightmare getting to work. Hubby got up at 5:30 to snowblow our long driveway, but I had to wait for the town to do our road - and then they only plowed one lane. I held my breath and drove down the hill & around the curve and hoped I wouldn't meet anyone. Phew! The…

OFF TOPIC: An extra prayer for Marina, please
I had an experience on my way to work this morning that has me a bit shaken, and just wanted to ask for an extra prayer for a young woman named Marina. As I was crossing the street walking to my office, a woman was also crossing toward me, and a car just ploughed into her out of nowhere. Knocked her right to the ground.…
