Muscle Girls... was a Bone Density Test recommended for You?
Morning All, I had a bone density test done yesterday. It was a snap! It took about 10 minutes. It was so much easier than an MRI. My doctor recommended I have one on account of the treatment I received( chemo, rads, Tamoxifen) over the course of time. I am 45 years old, premenopausal, and had two lumpectomies. I have to…

Femera coupon
I just finished my first month of Femera, and knock on wood, so far so good. A little sore & achy here and there (nothing unbearable). I could also attribute that to not exercising on a regular basis (starting back up next week). When I first had it filled, the pharmacist asked me if I was aware of the high co-pay. I told…

This is weird
I went to get my hair cut yesterday. I told my stylist that when I was towel drying my wet head one day that I thought I noticed short hairs popping up...almost like new growth. She parted my hair in several spots and agreed. She said it didn't look like breakage but new growth! So I was baffled...I've been with a full…

It's another day in Holland, dear sisters...good morning!
I woke this morning to mist so thick I could barely see out the door. But then, thru the fog, I spied a bit of movement! It was two bunnies running and playing and chasing each other!!!! They could see just fine with each other's help...and safely under the cover of mist from predators always lurking! It rained hard…

2 Months Off Arimidex - Reaction Rash - Tomorrow will start generic Anastrozole
As a process of elimination, I went off Arimidex on November 5. First, it was to determine if my tingling/numbness in my fingers and hands was caused by Arimidex. After being off it for 2 months, the tingling/numbness never went away, so it is not the result of Arimidex. Next week I will start physical therapy for the neck…

Went for 1st radiation today
It took quite a while and my poor arm (the only one I can raise) was hurting. My hand went numb and the female tech had to slowly help my arm back to my body (I have a reverse total shoulder prosthesis in my arm). It was quite sore for about an hour but it's ok now. The techs took pictures which they showed to rad/onc,…

Today she had a follow up appt after her LAST chemo treatment 2 weeks…

I Could use your thoughts on this
Today was my first post treatment 3 month visit with my Onc. I love him, he's very thorough. However, in the past year I have had more tests than I had ever cared to or even thought was necessary, had to suffer major anxiety over the possible results of them all, and so far, all have been clear. (TG) Well, now he wants me…

A health club here has a hot-springs-fed outdoor lap pool. Swimming there, particularly at night in the snow, is absolutely glorious and very, very peaceful. But I have a question -- I still have a prothesis, foam, size DD. I think I'd drown trying to swim with that thing :) . Anybody aware of any inexpensive substitutes,…
