I'm a little stressed tonight
I am going in tomorrow for my first mammogram after treatment. It has been 6 months. I am pretty sure it will come out clear but still have that doubt in my mind. At all of my dr. visits I was told I was doing fine and shouldn't worry but I can't help it. I know you will all be there with me for support. Hugs, Georgia

Ended up in the emergency room and came home with a cathetor.
As I have been having so much trouble peeing. Not a UTI, I'm supposed to see my onc tomorrow, so I guess I'll probably have more tests. I can barely walk with BOTH legs now numb. I fell yesterday 3 times. Today I've got the walker. It seems like every time something good happens it's followed by something bad.

UPDATE*Off subject...if you can spare a prayer for my mom....*UPDATE
...she was hospitalized yesterday evening for pneumonia ('the old man's friend'), dehydration, a UTI, and a general confusion behavior(more than likely from the other stuff). Naturally, I am over 5500 miles away, so all of my conversations start with 'so, what time is it there?'. And yesterday was the day that I got the…

Prayers for Rep. Giffords (D - AZ)
I do realize this has nothing to do with BC but a short time ago Representative Gifford has been shot along with several others at a Rally. The latest I heard is saying that she is currently in surgery for brain trauma. Prayers for her, the others injured and all their family/friends. Prayers! Susan

More tests for Moopy, but so far so good. =/
Hi, all! Moopy and I went in Friday morning for what we thought would be a more or less routine follow up with our oncologist, Dr. Nair. But Moopy's liver enzymes were still going up, and her platelets were going down, so he had Moopy admitted to the oncology ward. It sounded really awful at first - but in fact he knew…

Has anyone else had any bruising on their breast? I seem to be getting them and don't know why. ??
I had a lumpectomy in 09 followed by rads, and, had another lumpectomy a few months ago to remove a lump that was found. They didn't think it was cancer, and, it wasn't. Thank you God! But, I have noticed that I am getting bruises on that breast now, and, don't know why. I didn't before. Could it just be that my breast is…

Skipper85 - How are you doing?
I know things have been really rough for you. I hope you are hanging in there and taking good care of yourself. I said it to you once before, it seems hardly fair that one person has to deal with so much all at once. I just hope you find the strength you so desperately need to be your husband's side and comfort him during…

chemo induced menopause and hormone therapy
Okay, so the type of hormone therapy you take depends a lot on whether you are pre or post menopause. I was not at all in menopause before all this started, but now haven't had a period since July and definetly have menopause symptoms. So do I could as pre menopause or post? Seems like my onc is considering me pre since…

My brain scan came out CLEAR!!!!!
What a great after Christmas gift!~ Now if we could just figure out how to get this numbness to reverse itself. It's actually moving to my right foot, too. I can't imagine my whole body being numb!!! The tumor was 2.2 cm and the radiologist says it's half the size it was before and he thinks all that's left is scar tissue.…

All done with Chemo !!
As of 2:30 today, I'm finished with Chemo. This last treatment was 6.5 hours...but hopefully never again! When I started 9/24 I never thought that I would reach this point. I go for a baseline mammo on 1/14 and will speak with the radiologist that week to set up 33 sessions of rads (I think--that was the plan in…
