Adriamycin and Heart Damage
Has anyone had heart problems after treatment with Adriamycin? We are told it can damage the heart but there don't seem to be many details available. I went through numerous heart tests 4 years ago when I experienced chest pain. I never got an answer to what I was experiencing. The cardiologist said there were minor…

aromatase inhibitors and kinesthetic sense
I have tried Femara, Arimidex, and Aromasin. After a few days of aromasin I started having problems with being "clumsy" just barely "grazing" things as I reach for them, or dragging my foot just a tad as I walk. My OC has said to take a break and cleanse my body, then try Tamoxifen. I have tested negative for MS, Lupus,…

Silly question...I guess
My vet prescribed topical steroid spray for my dog. But she insisted that if my immune system has been compromised in any way, that I ask my onc if I it is safe for me to handle it. I finished chemo in December, and finished radiation three weeks ago. I told her that I was taking steroids all through chemo, but she said…

I've dealing with hives moving around my body for the last 24 hours. I called the American Cancer Society and the nice lady checked and she couldn't find hives as a reaction to radiation so it's probably something else. But I'm waiting for the clinic to open so I can go see about treatment before I rip my skin off. I…

Too funny
So, I was reading O'hill's post, and down in the comments she mentions Weightwatchers, one word. Only the censors take some of the letters out. Perhaps they will on my post too, so I won't ruin it. I looked at the word for a while, imagining the missing letters till I figured it out. Dang. That was a good laugh. If the…
