Hi, My name is Laura. I had a bilateral mastectomy (no reconstruction) on November 15. At the same time I had pelvic surgery. I am 33 years old. It's ME
I got all the test result back on Friday and wanted you all to know what they found. As it turns out, once again it isn't in my head and I have a herniated bowl. It must be causing the irritable bowl syndrome into overdrive. Where it is situated must be pushing it up into my side and ribs. We will try medication to calm it…

Hi everyone, I am so sorry I haven't written or responded to all your nice emails. The day after they took my drains out I was in the ER with a high temp and inability to move the whole right side of my body. I could barely walk and could not sit up by myself. Once there they found I had developed a very serious infection.…

Tamoxifen vs. Raloxifene
Is anyone taking Raloxifen? I have read a bit on the internat about it but have never seen anyone mention it here. I am having a lot of joint and muscle pain and am blaming the Tamoxifen. I don't want to take it but I don't want to risk more cancer. Anyone "opt" out of Tamoxifen? Thanks Jamie

Thank you Sharon and Maud for responding to my question. Its a relief to know this is normal. My husband and children (ages 16, 15, and 12) think that I should be back to normal because my treament is over. They don't seem to understand that I still need help and can't do all the things that I was able to do before. My…
