breast implants saline or silicone
I have the breast expanders in when it is time I need to decide which implant I want. Just want to know if anyone else has had this done? not sure if I should use silicone they say it is safe my husband says go for this one any help I would like to hear.

double mastectomy Friday
Has anyone in the group had a double mastectomy? I'm curious about how blood tests, blood pressure etc are administered if lymph nodes are removed in both arms - I always heard you should use the opposite arm - but in my case this may not be possible. Suggestions/experience? Thanks.

In Aug. of 2000 was my news of B.C. 11 out of 14 lymph nodes 9cm. tumor poitive for her-2 at the age of 44. had double mas. the start of reconstruction with breast extenders.So far doing ok heavy chemo 8radiation treatments so far 20 to go. then back to herceptin chemo once a week for at least one year.

Hi, I've been hearing all kinds of mixed information about soy products...someone said you should stay away from them and then I read that it could be helpful in prevent Breast Cancer... Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, amy

Need someone for support

Side Effects of Implant?
Has anoyone had a similiar situation? I had a mastectomy on March 26th. I had a saline pouch inserted, but not inflated. Since then, I have a "marble-like" lump right near the area the pouch was insterted. This lump is very sensitive to the touch. I had a lumpectomy with the tumor messuring 1.6cm with clear margins. Not sure about the nodes yet. There was vascular invasion. Anyone with this problem. It's very scary.
