Daylady - More news...
Hi Ladies, well while I was in Germany Dr. Herzog pushed and pushed to get Kaiser to do tumor testing that I had not been able to convince anyone to do. Yesterday I got the results and found out that I tested positive for 3 of the 4 markers (Progesterone, Estrogen, and HER2). This basically triples my treatment options. In…

Pain after chemo
I'm a little over a month out from my last chemo treatment. For the past couple of weeks I've had intense pain in my legs and abdomen at night and early in the morning. It seems to be a combination of leg pain and constipation; the pain moves around and comes and goes. Once I'm able to clear my bowels in the morning it…

Severe abdominal pain sent me to emergency room on 11/19/16. CT showed some " spots" on liver. Biopsy indicated cancer and was told it was ovarin and had sigmoid colon perforation. Had radical hysterehysterectomy and bowel resection on 12/13/16. After surgery was told cancer was actually uterine. Sent home and appointment…

Ugh.
My ca-125 came back stable, but elevated. I had my fourth dose of Doxil today. My doctor was surprised, but not alarmed. I have been battling a minor cold, I have bad sinuses too. I have no baseline number. i will get a Ct scan soon. How long until the results? What chemo is next? Is stable still "good"?

Uterine Carcinosarcoma Survivors
Hi there, I decided to make a new thread as the old one was getting longer. My mother's surgery was in November and I had said it would be December and was terrified because…

TinyHouse update
I wanted to start a thread for myself so those who found me in the "constipation" discussion could find me. Don't want my life to be categorized under constipation! ;) . My second Chemo round was last Tuesday 1/10/17. Good news and bad news. Bad news first-I am apparently allergic to Pepcid. The only time I have been…

Great biopsy results
Ladies, Just wanted to let you know that I got my biopsy results and everything is normal. "Inactive endometrium" whatever that means, was the result. Scared to feel good
Since the beginning of December, I've been feeling better and better. Some of it is, I'm sure, having my thyroid medication raised substantially. But I think the other reason is because it's been a year since my last chemo and I'm FINALLY healing from the damage - I noticed on Saturday I was using my left hand to eat again…

synchronous cancers
I had surgery last July for two cancers and they were a very rare pair. I had squamous cell cervical and endometrial(uterine adenocarcinoma) at the same time. Pathology kept thinking they made a mistake because they did so many biopsies prior to rushing me into surgery for what they thought was the "real" cancer.…

I'm back and hoping for help please :(
When I first posted (1/7/17) I was given the common sense response to wait and see what the results were before asking questions. Well, the tests are stretching out and I still have no concrete results. So please, can you humor me and tell me your thoughts? (which I know are not medical opinions, just personal…

Do you know if chemo is failing? Just paranoid...
I have a question, I would ask on the ovarian board, but it's not as active as this one. Last year at this time, I was diagnosed at first with stage IV cancer. I had a significant pleural effusion, about a week later, I had my debulking surgery, three weeks later I started on chemo. My pleural effusion came back really…
