Hi all, I have been trying to find boxes of cards to send to people who have/had cancer for encouragement and that have some humor. I found that the cards I liked the best were the one's that made me laugh. I enjoyed the more serious one's but laughing was better for me. Does anyone know a store or a website that sells…

Interesting doctor's appointment today
I had my lab and CAT scan last week. Today the doctor gave me the results. My CA 125 went from 1441 to 1582. That is not too big of a rise for me in 8 weeks. My CAT scan showed only one lymph node in the right mediastinal area near the trachea that had grown from 2.8 X 2.2cm to 4.1 X 3.6cm. And that was the only lymph node…

Every woman should know
I just read an article in the July issue of Prevention entitled When Cutting Edge Kills. I'm sorry, I don't know how to create a link but if you google the title, it comes up on line. We cancer survivors need to help educate our sisters about this procedure. I know many women on this site were unaware they had cancer until…

Told no cancer but questions about Postmenopausal women
I am 60 years old and have been in menopause since I had chemo for breast cancer over 11 years ago. I recently had spotting and pelvic pressure. I saw my gynecologist and she did a very painful uterine biopsy in her office and sent me for ultrasounds the following week. The biopsy came back as insufficient tissue. The…

Happy end but maybe hysterectomy in the near future
I had D&C last for a week ago and I got the results of the biopsies. There was no cancer. I’ll be operated later, the polyps must be removed. The doctor told that it could be removal of the polyps or removal of the uterus. Because I already have my children and I’ve passed menopause, I would like to get rid of both the…
