My PSA TEST Level read 0.1ng, 6 months post my last External Beam Radiation. My doctor says it should be <0.1ng or less. Is there somewhere I can get a guideline chart to better understand these results? In my case I understand that we are all looking for Undetected PSA. So where is the guideline with all of the different…

Definition of biochemical recurrence
Hello all, first post. Brief history: Diagnosed in 2015 and underwent RP that year. Surgical report stated "Gleason 3+4, Stage T3a, negative resection margin." The last part indicated to me that surgery was successful. Unfortunately, my first PSA test 3 months after surgery was 0.53 and a follow-up 3 months later was 0.75.…

10 years later...
Greetings, 10 years ago I went through a RP and a month later had 36 treatments of RT. The last 9 of those years after, my PSA was always 0.01 but now seems to be on the incline again, low but different at 0.07 then 0.05. The 0.02 drop 6 months later confused me, is that normal? Thanks in advance.

Questions to Ask for Radiation vs Surgery?
Hey everyone, I’m a new member. I’m 63 years old in NYC. My November PSA showed a sharp increase to 8.3, so I had an MRI, which showed RADS 5 and a legion in the left region. No seminal vesical or lymph node invasion. But it did state there was “overlying extraprostatic extension.” A subsequent Bone Scan showed nothing…

Hi I have committed to a programme of IMRT. This started with me receiving Zoladex but I did not receive Flutamide or Bicalutamide. Some cancer veteran mates told me that I should have been on one of these prior to the Zoladex injection to counteract flare. I welcome any advice or comment from fellow prostate cancer…

How long after prostate removed is cancer considered gone?
My question is how long after prostate removal is cancer considered to be gone? Are there specific medical studies that can tell me the length of time a doctor can determine cancer is cured? For example, after 3 years of PSA tests being less than .1 is the cancer considered gone? Thank you to all who respond. Nick
