Stage 4 feel good story
Here's another inspiring story from the Inspire message boards. I was diagnosed in 2004, (stage 4) treated and had a three year remission. In 2008, my Ca 125 went from 7 to 48 in three months time. A week later it was 62 and a week after that it was 82. The ct scan showed only fluid in the pelvic area. My doc assured me…

Yesterday, I went in for my lupron (anti-estrogen) shot. Yes, a shot!!! It took all of 5 seconds, and felt so strange to not go down to the chemo room for a 4 hour infusion. My doctor talked me into getting lupron, as he says he has had more success with it than Femara. Just personal preference, so I went with it. Either…

Anyone know the answer to this?
I have heard that once you have a recurrence, your disease is considered chronic and instead of plain old ovarian cancer, you are said to have recurrent ovarian cancer. That all makes sense. The part I am confused about is this.....is remission a one-shot deal? Has anyone had one recurrence, gone back into treatment, then…

I booked a cruise for June 27th. I am a bit fearful I may get 'sick' or have a bowel event on this trip. If I were on land and in the US I'd feel a bit at ease.
