On clinical trails——Dah.......
First, sorry for the lack of paragraphs because I am typing from the mobile.... When a year ago my cancer returned to lungs after a brief remission, I started to look on clinical trails. I found a couple of databases and invested my effort and time looking on those trails. First, I noticed that the vast majority of them…

Chemo breaks
For those of you on lifetime chemo, is there flexibility as to when you get breaks from chemo. I am really hoping that I could get a month of chemo free time before my next vacation so I have some energy. Just curious how the whole lifetime chemo thing works since my oncologists never want to discuss past next step.

Exhausted!
Had my 10th erbutix/irinotecan infusion Tues, and cannot get enough sleep and rest. I am so exhausted. I wonder if the fatigue is cumulative, or if it is because my flight back from my reunion was 12 hours before my infusion Tuesday and the combo of fatigue from vacation is making this rounds fatigue worse.

Bolus
Appereny a bolus infusion of FU 5 can be reduced to 50 percent or dropped all together. There is no evidence that it is makes chemo better. Reduces side effects. Also you ca by your own disconnect the pump at home after 46 hours or request a home care nurse to come and get it done.Just learned it.

Tears come too easy
Does anyone else cry easily at emotional scenes now on TV? I had to stop watching This is Us after I was diagnosed. I love the show 911 but I am guaranteed to cry. I wonder if it is hormonal and has an actual physical cause or if now I truly know how easy it is to lose it all and it is all my fragile mental state.
