Good news today!
I went in for my infusion today. Left the house at 5:30am and made it home at 5:30pm. Yes it was a long day. And I received some good news today. My CEA is 9 today... Down from 40 a short while ago. I love my CEA line chart as it helps me appreciate the progress. And I'm hoping that this is an indicator that the…

Change In Strategy
As the battleground changes, so do the plans of hubby's doctors. We went to appt. today prepared to attack with chemo, but the committe has decided that the lung cancer is very agressive and growing at a fast pace, so skipping chemo at the moment and starting 10 treatments of rads on Monday, replacing the originally…

Neupogen and side effects
I've had two shots so far, and had an awful night with constant shooting pain in my lower back and hips. I took a couple of Tylonol, which brought the pain down a bit, and of course my ever present hot water bottle. I am scheduled to have these shots every five days after getting unhooked from my 5FU. Am I to expect…

Frustrated
So the scan report mentioned a area of concern... with a rising CEA (46) I guess I have resolved that it is a reoccurance.
