A little kindness goes a long way....remembering those who exemplified it.
Hello you wonderful Semi-colons! I want to share my appreciation for those on this board who showed love and respect to me and others over the years. Many of you have challenged me in ways that forced growth and understanding, but you did it in such a kind way, or humorous way, that connections were made and friendships…

Well the brain tumor is out. It was cancer mat from the colon. I’m still the same S.O.B. I was before. I’ve completed ten whole brain radiation treatments, with four more to go. Today will be my fourth injection of Lovenox, and I am feeling approx 25% better than I did before I started injecting myself. Anyhow, I get Folfox with Avastin every 2 weeks. Blood clots
Hi, My last chemo started out good, but then took a turn for the worst, and I was in bed for about 3 days. When I started to try and resume my normal activities, my neck was super stiff and swollen, and my left arm (which is on my port side) was either weak, painful, numb or didn't want to move. I would put the pain level…

Farewell FOLFIRI....
Movin' on these days - I've chewed through FOLFOX, avastin, FOLFIRI and ertbitux now, on to the clinical trial scene. I'm being screened at MGH for the RAD001/AV-951 trial. RAD001 is everolimus, an agent that is already approved for renal cancer and attacks the m-TOR pathway. the AV-951 is a VEGF pathway agent, much like…
