Just wondering if many others had this problem with a first treatment. I went for my first folfox treatment two weeks ago and yesterday returned for my second. Got bad news today.
I had MRI on Thursday. When I was diagnosed with colon cancer on 1/8, they did a CT scan and said that I had an undefined mass on the left lobe of my liver and a spot on my right lobe. When the surgeon removed my tumor on 1/14 he said he got a good look at the liver and the mass on the left lobe appeared to be something…

Update on Pam
Hello everyone. Pam is at the hospice center and I came home to do a quick load of laundry to take her some clean clothes. Waiting for the dryer so I thought I'd give you an update. Aches & Pains
This time around the Xeloda seems to be hitting me with a side effect. Muscle and joint pains. I feel like a little old lady getting up, taking my shuffling steps and eventually standing upright. Once I get moving it's okay, with the exception of shoulder pain which remains a constant. As I sit here tonight, my thighs,…

DAILY SCHEDULE
My stoma output is erratic - both as to time of day, and wildly varying consistency of product. It makes me very nervous when I have to schedule a meeting with a customer or a vendor at a jobsite. Today I was 10 minutes late for an appointment because I was changing my bag in my van. Then I spent the appointment time…

Toilet paper...ugh
Ever since my ileostomy takedown, i have not been able to use toilet paper to wipe with. I have to use wipes, or wetted paper towels, and a lot of them before i feel clean. I even have to carry a pack of flusable wipes in my purse. It's getting horribly expensive, and i'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions, or…
