“Pain and Suffering” – A Close Examination of Our Feelings as We Walk With Cancer
Pain and Suffering. Two words, that in the course of our journeys, will help to define who we are and what we have endured to reach this stage of our lives. Annabelle (Kim) had opened a post a few months back and was talking about a “magic pill” that could take away our pain and bad memories, so that we would not have to…

Hypodense and calcified lesions
Hi, If lesions (metastasis) on the liver are hypodense and calcified (on CT scan), is a good, bad or doesn't matter? From my research, it seems that calcification means lesions are "old" so there's no new lesion (which would be non-calcified)? Cheers.

I am thinking about changing jobs, so that would mean new health insurance. It makes me nervous because I think you can only be without insurance for 61 days, after that pre existing applies. Anyone else deal with this? I of course will not mention any cancer stuff in my interview, but worry about the insurance switch. On…

Waiting and Waiting!
Well, last week I went to SF and met with Dr. Munster. It was a long trip for a short visit, but I guess that is how you have to do it when you do trials. Instead of telling me they had a trial for me to start now, I was told about a new trial that isn't approved yet, but is supposed to be approved this next week. The…

However, the case worker said today that it doesn't matter what my ailment is because if I make over a thousand dollars a month income I don't qualify... After my 30th…
