They said there were 2 schools hit, but, they don't have any word on any casualties from them yet, or, from anywhere. I am saying a prayer for everyone in Oklahoma. Are Your Legs Tired? Aching Perhaps? Mine Are..lol I Did My 2nd Relay For Life!
Yep I did! For those of you that don't remember, I did my first Relay For Life in 2010. I was scared to do it, as, I was afraid it would drag up a bunch of bad memories and I thought, for some reason, that it might be depressing. Go figure! It was the most enlightening experience I've ever had! Well, not ever had, but, it…

How closely are you monitored after Stage I dx and treatment?
Hello all - I am so glad I found this discussion board! I am wondering what the standard monitoring procedure for Stage I diagnosis is as far as having labs, scans, etc. requested by your oncologist or surgeon? I was diagnosed August 2011, had a unilateral mastectomy, no rads or chemo, and have been on Femara now for…

Done with Surgery
Was out of there by 11:30 am, off to lunch, drugstore. Kids/grandkids came over, took dog for a walk. Had virtually no pain. The radioactive shot thing, which I was anticipating to hurt like hell, didn't. I can't tell you how many caretakers I had in the hospital. Every one of them was a gem. I found out later that the…
