Infection in breast after lumpectomy/radiation-update
It appears this isn't very common as I have searched all over the internet and on these boards for older posts and have found very little information. I developed an infection in the breast where I had the lumpectomy about 3 weeks after my radiation was over. First the breast swelled and became purplish red, then I became…

Oh Shucks! I spoke too soon
I've been on Arimidex for a year now. Up until last week--I had a few aches and pains and a few hot flashes but nothing I couldn't handle and it really didn't affect my life a whole lot. I thought, okay, I sure can handle this. For the last few days I've had joint pain--not just one or two joints--more like EVERY joint.…

Possible help for PTSD
My therapist used a technique on my granddaughter when she was younger to overcome the PTSD related to abuse she'd been subjected to. The treatment is EMDR (can't remember what the initials stand for) but you can google it and many therapists have had alot of success treating PTSD with this method. Hope this helps someone.…

Breast Cancer and Heart Disease
My goal is never to scare anyone, but I think this article is important because there are many proactive things that we can do to prevent heart disease. It may be worth it for many of us to take this article to our oncologists and begin to ask for cardiology referrals. Unfortunately, there are not many cardiologists aware…

Hi, all! I decided to start a new thread, because of all that's going on this morning. My partner, who almost never has a fever, woke up today with a temp of 101.
