Radiation CT Scan and plan today
Good morning, so I have to tell you, my lungs are still really bad and no one has any answers. Today I have my appointment to get set up for radiation and I'm scared to death! What's going on with me, I've undergone 16 chemo treatments, already had surgery and that didn't have me feeling this way. Maybe it's all this stuff…

dental work while on chemo - is this wise?
I had a chipped filling. I didn't have it fixed before chemo mostly because I did not like the work my dentist did and needed to find a new one which I hadn't. Now not only is the filling chipped but the tooth broken. This just happened while flossing my teeth this evening. So I am pretty much in need of having the dental…

Hi Gals and Guys, Before I start down the line providing my input to the other posts, I just wanted to let you know that I attended the Ford Truck PBR Bull Riding event, here, in Kansas City. Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's back to work I go..
And I just can't believe it. Honestly, I feel like Pam from Dallas "It was just a dream" albeit, a bad one. It's been 3 months exactly from surgery and I have either pampered or pitied myself - both of which mean I was in bed or on the couch. To those of you who have worked through this - you are tough cookies and totally…

pity party
Has anyone ever been told that they are having a "pity party" by their husband or significant other? I have been trying to be so strong for 18 months after my mastectomy, I do work full-time, and I try to be social and keep up with events, etc. Isn't it okay to have a pity party every few months or so?

MRI and CT scan
I'm going to have an MRI tomorrow: the first since my bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction (in 4/09) and then a CT scan next week. I have to admit that I really don't like MRI's (in fact, they freak me out) because of the feeling of being enclosed, and now they will become my routine diagnostic test each year. I would…

Lotions and creams
I am starting rads on Monday and I would like to know what any of you would suggest for lotions and creams that worked for you. My dear and favorite Pharmacist watched his wife battle breast cancer twice and survive then he had a really harsh battle with stomach cancer and came out on the living end.
