50 and Healthy
Just had to post. I turned 50 on Thursday...and instead of feeling bummed about it like I might have a couple of years ago. It was a day of success. The beast was beaten and put back in his place... and I was back to enjoying my life. Just had to share. Take Care All. Suan

Xeloda - thanks for the info dbqueen!
Thank you dbqueen for your info about Xeloda. I had stage 2 breast cancer in 2000 and it popped up in my bones (spine and hip) in 2005. I've been on Herceptin and had some radiation on three spots but my Med Onc doesn't want me to Radiate anymore ...at least for a while. Since I work and I think I am still realatively…

I'm ok...but NUTS!
So, this weekend I was feeling so good that I did some moderate yard work...pruned my fruit trees, stuff like that. heart damage due to Adriamycin
I am having some heart problems and see a cardiologist next week, but would like to discuss any experience any of you have had with "cardiomyopathy" caused by Adriamycin.
