When some stop posting!!
I love you ladies (you too Red Corvette) and don't know how I would have gotten through all this without you, BUT, it just worries me so much when somebody stops posting. I start wondering if they're ok, or they're so sick they can't post or so down-in-the-dumps (I'll try to cheer you up!) or maybe they're feeling SO good,…

Has anyone gotten uterine cancer 30 years after hysterectomy
Hi, I'm new here and have been looking to see how likely it is to get uterine cancer after having had a hysterectomy 30 years ago. I had my uterus and cervix removed 30 years ago becaue of fibroids, then my ovaries removed 20 years ago because of cysts. I have never had cancer but I did find a post here written back in…

Just told endometrial cancer
Hi, I'm not even sure which board to post this on... You all seem so helpful in your responses, I'm just starting out. Biopsy results indicate cancerous mass in uterus, pelvic sono results were initially reported to me by radiologist as possible fibroid or polyp at the end of the vaginal canal. CT scan is next. I'm pretty…

I don't get to finish chemo tomorrow
Blood work is low, but I think the one they're worried about again is the platelets. Down to 73 today, and they won't do chemo until they're above 100. So they postponed my 6th (& final) chemo until next Thursday, depending on the blood work on Wednesday. I'm not thrilled with waiting, mostly because my chemo buddy (my…

Physical Therapy Today
I went for my first physical therapy today. The first hour was testing and then half an hour of therapy. I could hardly walk out of there and tonight I am in more pain than I've been in for a long time. I think I'm going to take a hot shower, half a Percoset and go to bed. I have to go back on Thursday and hopefully I will…

3rd chemo completed
i had my 3rd chemo today and it went well but long. My magnesium was low so I had an hour infusion of that. Also, my dr wasn't here today so I saw the PA instead. I told her about the bit of neuropathy I was having. She said that some people have some relief taking Gabapentin, so she said she could prescribe some if I…

Off Topic but IRS dosen't care
OK, I get that IRS doesn't care that we spend big bucks for our health care, but really? I dreaded figuring my tax return, but went into the office today to see what if any my medical bills would make to my 1040 itemized deductions. Of course, thankfully, my insurance maximum kicked in at $4,000 but it amounted to $46…

May I share?
Ok, today was my first external beam radiation treatment. The set up on the table took 15 minutes and the actual treatment about 4 minutes. I got up, got dressed and headed to blood draw then off to my low dose infusion. I was told to have an empty stomach and a full bladder for the radiation so that's what I had. While…

I am happy that my hair has started to grow back on my head, eyebrows and eye lashes but... it's also growing back with a vengeance on my face! I have this facial fuzz all over my cheeks and long side burns. Beggars can't be choosers but, wow, this is crazy. Has anyone else had this? If so, how did you handle it?

Can't eat
I'm trying, but after Sundays fiasco with some funky herby chicken, I can;t seem to eat anything. Nothing tastes good, bordering on getting sick after two bites. Tonight I tried 5 different things, only to throw them all away. The only thing that tasted good was an irish coffee from the local irish pub. I'm giving up for…
