Emotional Roller Coaster Is it normal?
My emotions are way off the charts. I knew a meltdown was coming and it happened this morning at church. Let me give you a brief synopsis of the last few weeks. Had a really, really good week 2 or 3 weeks ago. Then, I think I did too much and paid for it, well, it hasn't gotten better. Then last week, I started Livestrong…

Update on my vaginal wall cyst
Cyst turned out to be benign. It was a Mullerian duct remnant with wolffian/mesonpheric duct. The Wolffian duct (also known as the mesonephric duct) is one of the paired embryogenic tubules that drain the primitive kidney (mesonephros) to the cloaca. In both the male and the female the Wolffian duct develops into the…

Treatment with SBRT - Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy started
I had my first two SBRT completed. I laid in my mold and got positioned " just right". They used the marks on my body to line me up. I had my arms raised above my head. They put the brace on my stomach to keep the diaphragm from moving too much. They put the rubber band in my feet again. I had to lie still. At least they…

Results of my gyn/onc appt. on Monday
I just wanted to let you know the results of my gyn/onc appt. on Monday. I still have a small mass in my paracolic gutter. It's now 1.1 x 1.4 cm. and in June it was 1.0 x 1.4 cm. My CA-125 was 6.3 then and it's 6.4 now. So both the CA-125 and the results of the CT scan show a 0.1 increase. The radiology report my gyn/onc…

Here's one for the book - Can someone help me out with this?
Ok. As some of you may know, I have been going for various tests in the past couple of months. Most recently, I met with my PCP who not only put me on a mild high blood pressure medicine (never had it before), but also wanted me to have a urine and blood test since my most recent PET/MRI showed that my left kidney has…

Anyone have a cyst? removed from the vaginal wall?
Went in for my 4 year check up and saw what they thought was a cyst right inside the vaginal opening. They removed it and sent it to be checked and I have to wait a week to find out the results. It was about the size of a pea and when she removed it there was fluid inside. She also noticed a mole on the labia that I didn't…

I am a Uterine Cancer Survivor: Do not base YOUR outcome on any of these posts!
I first must say that THIS site is the best of any out there. I was scared as hell two years ago, this past October, when I first found out I had uterine cancer. There is a lot of scary info lurking on the World Wide Web. DON'T YOU BELIEVE IT! I know that not everyone is as lucky as me to have caught it at stage 1. I had…

Went today to get " mold" or body cradle for SBRT
I had to remove my bra and shirt and put on a gown. I had to lay on a table that looked like it was covered with a black garbage bag. They made sure I was in a straight line. They then had me sit up. They poured into the bag some sort of chemical that turned into a foam. I then laid down. I put my arms over my head. There…

Results from PET/MRI
So the PA returned my call today and told me about my report. Although she said overall it looked good, my doctor still hadn't read it and will read it tomorrow and then get back to me. I am happy that the results didn't turn up anything new, but I am still faced with the stupid mass and what I should do: Although it…

Hi- in 2007 I posted "new here" I'm breast cancer.org. It was such a great community. I learned so much and received, and gave in return unbelievable support. Double mastectomy - DCIS 1, 3 tumors on one side and star clusters on other; necrosis. I was unbelievably lucky. I did not have time for reconstructive surgery but…

I have a history of a thickened endometrium. These ultrasounds were done mid cycle. The bleeding and clots were so bad I went to the ER. They did…
