Hi everyone. I have seen some postings here that some have Taxol every week and some have the combo of Taxol and Carboplatin every three weeks like myself. Does anyone have tips to take care and feel better and gain strength during taxol/carboplatin
Hello everyone. I am new to the boards-my first post yesterday. Does anyone have tips that have worked for them to feel good and build strength? Right now I drink two protein drinks (Ensure) a day as I know protein is the building block. What other things does everyone do that have worked for them? Thank you all! :)

Unofficial CT/PET scan results and official CA125
Well, not the news I wanted but it could have been much worse. My CA125 went up from 24.6 to 53.9, and 2 of the 3 lymph nodes that had disappeared on my last CT/PET lit up again. (sigh) The news on my scan is unofficial, but here's what I learned: The para-aortic lymph node that lit up is really tiny and wasn't even…

Cookbook suggestions?
I'm really getting into eating better, but just seem to be "plain Jane" with my type of cooking/baking. I've looked thru my cancer recipe books and notice many with ingredients of sugars, margarine and flour. Any one have suggestions for cookbooks with the "plant-like" foods and "no-sugars" (bad kind)? Thinking my 10 years…

Oops - CT Scan
Well, the wonderful and miraculous news we got on my mom's CT scan was incorrect. They were comparing the most recent scan to the pre-surgery scan. No wonder the mass appeared to have shrunk significantly. Instead, it is simply "stable". This is good - it was growing rapidly before she started chemo again - we know at…

Galactorrhea
Hey ladies! Just curious if any of you experienced something called galactorrhea. It's when the breasts release fluid from both breasts. I'm still going through the testing phases to figure out what is going on inside. I had an MRI in December because I was having frequent headaches in addition to the fluid. Mammogram…

Last January, my CA-125 shows 15 which is a good news but I'm not going to jump up and down that I'm in NED cuz it hasn't been one year since my surgery. I rather wait for 5 years then I'll know that I'm in NED. Guess what...two…

The Whole Lemon Drink
I wanted to try this for my neuropathy. I only use the lemon and water and put in some stevia for sweetness. I’m going to put in my fresh ginger tonight, which will prove to be interesting.
