Care that never quits?
March 2013. I take my wife of seven years to the local hospital for abdominal pain and swelling. The blood test come back with the worst news anyone could ever want to hear-cancer. they send us to another city an hour away that is said to be the best in the state. I'm glad they think so...but that is a whole other story.…

Just diagnosed
Ovarian, stage 4b. Awaiting peritoneal tap, biopsies, then chemo. Was told that i am not an immediate surgical candidate. Pretty much in shock. Began with vague abd. discomfort, 8 wks or so. my wife Lorraine was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian in january. She had the debulking surgery in february, removed the tumors. Started chemo in March, today was her eighth week of chemo.
