Like, which of us do not have anxiety? LOL I've been a participant in this study since the summer, and have nothing but the highest praise for it. It is so well run, so carefully thought out, and so effective! I can honestly say that my experiences in this study have changed my life. I am also lucky enough to still be in…

My first experience with Psycho-Therapy
Most of us have experienced psychological effects of cancer, treatment and menopause: fear, anxiety, depression, mood swings, loss of control, memory loss, relationship and intimacy issues, the list is long and tedious. Advanced Ovarian Cancer
Can someone define what advanced stage ovarian cancer is? Is that when it has spread a far distance in the body from the original site, such as the brain or lungs? I always thought stage 4 was advanced and stage 1 was low grade and stage 2 and 3 were somewhere in between.

How to find the best doctor/surgeon
I am thinking positive, and hoping my mother will be ready for her debulking surgery in a few months. I keep reading how important the skills of the surgeon are for this operation. She has chosen a surgeon based on nurses recommending her because she is 'so nice'. I want to make sure she is the best one for the job though.…

The web site keeps kicking me out. Anyone else having that problem?
I was wondering about hot flashes too, I have been getting them since my surgery in Feb, and I think the chemo makes them worse. Do they eventually go away? My dr doesnt want me to take any hormones for them, but it would be nice at least to know they dont last forever.
