My mom was dx at ER w/ advanced OC last week. She is home now, waiting for final biopsy results to begin tx. She has 20 cm tumor and ascites, and is so uncomfortable. Ca 125 rising
Just got ca 125 results; I has risen to 49 from 20. Had ct scan only showed a couple peri-aortic lymph nodes swollen slightly. I don't know what else could be causing this other than a recurrence. Any thoughts?

Metformin
Just asked my oncologist to put me on metformin after listening to the CBS morning show yesterday. She said I might experience a few side effects at first, including nausea, loose bowel movements. Has anyone had symptoms like these from metformin? Thanks Shawnna
