A Caregiver for a friend
I am trying to be a caregiver for a friend who was diagnosed in March with Hodgkins Lymphoma. He called me to come to the hospital where they admitted him. Turns out his cancer had went to two of his vertebra and that is why he was having back pain. I have been with him every since. I stayed at the hospital and moved over…

Hida Scan
Tracie, I knew the Hida Scan was done for gallbladder, but didn't realize the scan also checks the Billary tract. Perhaps your doctor will order a Hida Scan also. Pain on right side=Tracie
Dear Tracie, I am answering your post on a separate posting. For years I have had pain on and off on my right side just above the waist. When I got the pain I was paralized and couldn't move or walk. If I was home I had to lie on my bed and roll from side to side. Or if that didn't help, I would have to take Moltrin. If I…

Bone Pain
It's been almost 2 weeks since I started BEACOPP and I suppose I'm handling it okay. One more week till the cycle starts again...bleh. Day 1 is ALWAYS the worst!...for nausea anyway. But after the Vincristine on Tuesday, my counts started to drop like crazy, and my doctor knew they would, so he's had me on Neupogen shots…

Not a Happy Camper
Exhaustion hit me today at work. Could barely keep my eyes open, rested during break and lunch and finally left for home at 1:45. The drive home was ok, just the wake up bumps got me once....not from sleeping but mind drifting. So I have been in bed ever since, but my legs and hips are killing me! I think it's from the…

Hello there, I had a stem cell transplant in May of 2010, I am scheduled to have a followup pet scan for lymphoma. I am also scheduled to have RAI for papillary thyroid cancer. My thyroid doc said that I have to be four months without a petscan before they can do the RAI. If I have the petscan first, does anybody know how…

Introduce myself
Hi all, Let me say first that I am a very private person. Keep to myself within my family and do not even have a Facebook account. Reason for stating this is how hard it is for me to reach out and share. I have not even told my friends. I don't want to be "the one with cancer". I know I will change in their eyes. I feel…
