Popping in throat - from radiation?
When I had radiation in my chest and throat, and recently when I swollow, my throat 'pops'. there is no other way to explain it. It is more annoying than anything else, but it really sin't normal. Any thoughts? Has this happened to you? I think I will call my radiologist and make an appointment, but was wondering if anyone…
Working with a Nauturopathic Doctor
I was wondering if there is anyone who has worked with a naturopathic Doctor while undergoing chemo. My Oncologist is telling me to get off supplements during chemo and I am confused.
Hoarse voice
Hi Everyone, It's been a long time since I have had any reason to worry about my health. But now I am almost ready to panic. I work with young children and have had a nasty infection going on. I finally got some antibiotics after 8 days of being told it was a common cold. Well the good news is my head is starting to clear,…
Neupogen and Bone Pain
Hi, I am a longtime NHL survivor. I am on my 2nd occurance, last year, and had treatment. However, my wbc's/rbc's/platelets failed to recover last november and I have been on neupogen and epogen for the past year. My bone pain is severe and I take Vicodin ES for the pain. My question is...do others have this pain also or…

Living in fear
I was diagnosed with NHL in 2002 and underwent CHOP and rituxin - lost all my hair, etc. I'm 46 years old and needless to say, it was a terrible time for myself and my family. Because the lymphoma is a low grade, I've been told that it will probably return at some point. My problem is that it's really hard for me to get on…
How best to support my friend?
One of my best friends *just* found out he has lymphoma (probably Hodgkins, although it hasn't yet been confirmed). He took it hard. I was hoping people here might be able to give me advice on things I can do to support him through this as a friend. What types of things might he need but be hesitant to ask for? What are…
Secondary cancer after Hodgkins?
I've been 11 years cancer-free from Hodgkins. I'm a 37 year-old female. I've recently (for the past month) had swollen lymph nodes in my neck, nodules that showed up on my chest & neck CAT scan, and swollen nodes on my breast ultrasound. Can all these swollen nodes indicate a cancer about to occur? I'm very concerned and…
NHL diagnosis but feeling well
I was just diagnosed at 56 with follicular NHL. I still feel great and am hopefull. Anyone out there gone through any Clinical Trials or Rituxan treatments. I am optomistic that with my faith and a good attitude I will soon be in remission. Rodger (rodgerr1)
