I came back from the doc today who told me I had a 20 - 25 chance that that the xoloda he was putting me on would work and and that if it didn't work I would not live longer than a few weeks to a few months. Right now that is the end of my story. The only thing to do is to pray that the xeloda works and that a good trial…

I guess I am just now coming to realize the reality of this whole…

It was a big one, taking up the whole colon and had made it to several lymphnodes. She had surgery to take the colon out and came out…

Alternative treatment for stage 4 colorectal cancer -
Is anyone having success with something other than chemo/radiation/surgery? I've got 18 mets to one lung (all lobes invovled) and 10 mets to the other lung, all lobes involved. From what I understand, I'm not gong to beat this, so I'm exploring other possibilities rather than pumping poison chemicals into my body. I went…

Another surgery post op food for thought about resting in the hospital
When at Vandy I asked the staff if they could all collect their pokes, pricks, and prods at the same time each night instead of coming in every 1 or 2 hours and waking me up. They are excellent caregivers and it was taken very well and at 2 am in the morning there were 5 in there poking, pricking, and prodding and then…
