I have graduated to 4 month checkups :-)
I saw my oncologist today and he is letting me go 4 months instead of 3 months between visits. He is also only doing my labs every 4 months now. He is very pleased that my markers have been going down the last few visits. I know there is sad news here tonight and my heart is heavy, but I had to also share my hopeful news.

Please Light A Candle For Sweet Kat ( Hootie Girl ) Who Has Gone To Heaven
It's such a shock to read of Kat's passing. I will post below the site you can go to, to light a candle in her memory. It is the same site that I've posted before for other pink sister's that left this earth too soon. Your candle will stay lit for only 48 hours, so, feel free to go back after that to light one again if you…

Katrina Larson passed away today at 1:10 PM Central time from her cancer. She was in a comatose state for a little over 24 hours,…

Finally discharged by the surgeon
It only took 11 post-op visits (plus an additional surgery) but I've finally been discharged by my surgeon, back on to my regular annual mammogram/annual appointment with her schedule. However, I did learn something significant: my questionable mammogram that started this crazy journey may have been caused by trauma to my…

When I was told I had cancer -- on the left side, I had infiltrating lobular carcinoma; on the right, ductal carcinoma in situ. Initially, the DR thought I might get by with just…
