This Might Sound Strange, But, Has Anything Good Come Out Of Your Having Breast Cancer? Maybe Just
I know having bc and going thru all of the treatments is horrible. But, I always believe that out of anything bad, something good must come. It could be something like you found strength you never had, or, you realized how much your husband or someone really loved you, or, you learned how each day is to be treasured. So,…

Lymph node found in breast and tech said they usually aren't found there. Comments?
My ultrasound of my breasts showed a lymph node in the right breast at about position 8 o'clock. With my history of lymphoma I asked them to do a needle biopsy which they are doing this coming Tuesday. They said that usually lymph nodes aren't found in breast tissue but occassionally they see this and the node looked…

Gift to surgeon - is this appropriate?
I was browsing embroidery designs this evening and came across a design titled "A Gentleman and a Robot". See it on my Expressions page. As most of you know, I had a robotic assisted hysterectomy last year. I've always thought of my gynecologic oncologist as such a gentleman (and a nerd). When I saw this design I…

Be sure to get copies of ALL your scans and tests -
read them carefully - there may be something wrong on them. Today I got the copy of my last nuclear bone scan done on July 1. I'd already talked with my PA's nurse and she told me the findings - no mets and arthritis isn't signicatly worse though it's been hurting more (but the etodolac is definately helping). For some…
