Please just say a little prayer....
Well if it's not one thing it's another... the bumps and turns of the ride are sometimes quite unsettling.... and right now I'm looking to all of you to be my seat belt...and hold me in, so I don't go flying off.... Being the inquisitive one...really isn't always the best idea... sometimes I think it really is a curse...…

anyone have a family member that "doesn't want to hear about it"????
My 26 yr. old daughter says that is the way she copes. She wants no part in going with me for testing...Friday I had an MRI, and she was off work also, so she could have gone with me. I invited her and said we could go to lunch and shopping afterward. Then, she basically never wants me to discuss anything. My mastectomy…

Soooo miserable - surgery #5 reconstruction
So my newly reconstructed breasts (post bilateral mast.) have failed. Gravity and my poor tissue allowed the implants to sag into my underarm. PS was dumfounded, decided to go in and reinforce everything and then see if it holds. The wait to see part was explained tp my husband while I was in post op. (friday) My PS also…

New to CSN
Hello I am new to CSN and wanted to introduce myself as this seems like a real supportive place. I was diagnosed IDC grade 2b and had a bi-lat mastectomy with 4 nodes removed from my left breast in Sept, 2010. I started chemo (A/C) DD every 2 weeks for a total of 4 rounds. I had several delays due to high WBC counts and…

A Dutch treat...
Yesterday I was reminded of how small The Netherlands is...lol... Saturday morning we left home early to go to a new snufflemarkt in Enschede. Not too far drive, about an hour Southeast of us. Found some great stuff...but oddly I heard many people speaking German as well as Dutch. So, I looked at a map...only 6 kilometers…

I had acne for 26 years & it all cleared up
my acne is gone! I had it fairly bad too, even on my back all over. some systic on my face. So the question is... did the chemo clear it up since the acne would really be a fast growing cell and that is what chemo does best is to kill those cells or... could it be from not shampooing? I had tried every otc available on the…

Hi, this is my first post. I have followed this board for a few months. I finished my treatments-bilateral mastectomy without reconstruction, chemo a/c-4 rounds and taxol 4rounds done weekly for 12 weeks, and radiation-33. I was done with all of this January of 2010. However I was also in a trial that included Avastin with…
