Hi, just wondering how your mammo went. I had a scare this morning, the doctor had me repeat an x-ray sideways and while I was waiting for her to call me, I was crying and praying at the same time. Then she said it was alright and I could go. Thank God. My bloodwork went well too and now I have an appointment with the…

guess who
Hi ladies, guess who is part of our "club"? My favorite singer, Anastacia. She has BC at an early stage. Instead of people joining her fan club, she's part of ours now. Sad to say but this cancer doesn't look anyone in the face. I hope she'll be alright. God help us all. My thoughts and prayers are always with all of you.…

Neoadjuvant Chemo not working
Hi everyone and thanks for your prayers previously. I had the ultrasound of the tumor and they found a slight increase in the size. The doctors believed it to simply be a margin of error between measurements. We decided to do a lumpectomy with a local and light sedation (for the baby's sake) and the pathology report shows…

Chemo Delays
I keep hearing everyone say that they have their chemo infusion every 3 weeks. Mine seem to be every 4 weeks due to low white and red blood cell counts. How common is this? My Dr. is saying that sometimes chemo can be up to every 5 weeks, depending on the response...but that's not what I'm reading. Thanks for any feedback.

eyelash/brow loss
I had my last treatment of chemo in 11/02. I have had 10 radiation treatments. I lost a few lashes during chemo, but over the last week I have lost almost all of them. Is this an after affect? I asked the radiation doc and he said radiation shouldn't be affecting it. Did anyone else experience this? Bobbie Jo

Wow 2 years almost
It has almost been two years since I found this site and the support of wonderful women. This is truly the place I come to lay down my soul. Chat seems to bring new people aboard if one just sat in there while they were hanging around checking things out here at the site. That is if you wanted or needed to talk. Not always…

Hummingbyrd's site - so easy/nice
Hi Hummb! I think you are not getting the participants you ought to for the foremost reason that readership has dropped off tremendously since the stupid remake of this site. It is so sad that I do not feel apologetic about insulting any of the programmers on the CSN network. It was so easy to search old messages etc. -…

thanks Humminbird
I don't mean to sound rude or anything but not there in YOUR relm with Jesus. I am interested in talking to people about them not about the Lord. Thanks very much for being there for those like minded with you. Not that I don't think I believe in God cause there wouldn't be one IF I didn't. I feel very spiritual and that…

Back to Work after Masectomy
How long of a medical leave do you think I should ask for, after a masectomy? I know this is probably very variable, depending on if there are any complications (such as infection), or a need to take out more tissue if the margins aren't good, or I don't recover as well as expected...but do you think 2-3 weeks is a good…

lets ask our Doctors...Clodronate?
Lets all ask our Onco's their opinion an the drug Clodronate and the value of a bone marrow test, even when we seem to be doing well after therapy. The New England Journal of Medicine reports that this drug showed a 50% reduction in both bone and visceral (lung and liver) metastasis. Let's all ask and compare answers. If…
