hot prosthesis
Hi! I am a 9 month survivor. Had a bilateral mastectomy with no reconstruction and wear prosthesis. I live in the south and it has already reached 90 degrees. (The prosthesis are very comfortable and I do not regret my decision.) I do a lot of errands for people and by noon I am really uncomfortably warm and beginning to…

message for "redwoman" (lois)
Hi Lois. I just read your message about the port you still have in. I'm just wondering, did your onc say you needed to leave it in? I got mine out between finishing chemo and starting radiation. The theory from my onc was, if you ever need again, we'll put another one in, but we are not going to leave it in assuming you…

What Year Is This ?
You would think that after all the cases of cancer in the world that by now doctors would be looking deeper into chronic illness and pain of patients to see if it could be possible. Instead I still hear the horrors of misdiagnosis and or pure neglect. It upsets me that people suffer terribly and often times without ever…

Dear fellow list servers, I had a lumpectomy and radiation a year ago for DCIS and have recovered fully.
