NOPR- National oncologic pet registry
I think the site may give guidelines for Pet/ CT fusion scans which are used for surveillance in other cancers and are less radiation that straight ct scan. Maybe this google site can help with payment of scans?

To EvertheOptimist
For some reason I cannot respond to your wonderful note on line. There may be a computer glitch. I agree more research is done for ovarian cancer and it is creating a block for those of us with serous uterine cancer. Not as much research is done on serous uterine cancer and when we need medications the oncologists use the…

UPSC: applicable findings from ovarian cancer research
I am new on this board, but I spend a lot of time on the ovarian cancer board on inspire.com since originally I thought I had ovarian cancer, and later because I learned that UPSC behaves very much like ovarian cancer and has similar prognosis and outlook. In fact, other than the fact the primary site of UPSC is uterine,…

Leaking urine 17 days post hysterectomy
This may sound insignificant compared to everyone's situation & cancer but tonight I leaked enough urine into a sanitary pad that when I peeled it off my undies it was like I was wringing out a soaked sponge. I wear a pad every day & have since I was in my 30's. I started @ first because my periods were so erratic & I…

How about starting a weekly Wednesday evening uterine chatroom at 8 pm CST
Friends, What does everyone think about staring a uterine chat room live chat, on the chatrooms on this website. We could use the room called "Extra Room for Extra Chats" on the website, rather than the lobby which is for general chatting. It might be fun. What do you guys think? Cindy

Officially introducing myself: upbeat UPSC stage 4B here.
I went in for surgery with every expecting stage 3C ovarian cancer. Turns out, the origin was deemed "uterine", and the presence of cancer around bowels and some lymph nodes put my stage at 4B. I will post my progress here. I know UPSC stage 4B really scares the hell out of people. If I am doing well, all of you with UPSC…

UPSC (uterine pappilary serous carcinoma): once in remission, how does you doctor monitor your statu
I have a question to UPSC patients who are currently in remission. I just finished my first round of chemo (3 weekly sessions - dose dense regimen), and I am realistically optimistic that I will go into remission after the 6 rounds of chemo is over, because the test results (CA125) already show that the chemo is working…

Chatrooms on American Cancer Society Website -Roomed Called: Extra Room For Other Chats
Friends, I was thinking it would be really nice if we all got online for a live chat in the chatrooms sometimes. There is a new category room listed now called "Extra Room for Other Chats"-we could use that one (since I don't see uterine cancer listed). I never seem names listed in other rooms-seems everyone uses the main…

LindaProcopio on Ovarian Board
I don't think I saw it here on the Uterine Board but Linda is going through a really tough week and I saw her post on the Ovarian board and thought I would mention. I go there regularly too as my doctor always refers to my UPSC as Ovarian as he feels it has far more in common with that than with typical endometrial…

Thyroid Nodule Biopsy Results--Negative. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Friends, I received the results late afternoon from my thyroid nodule biopsy. It was benign-yeah!!!!!!!!!! I just got a questionnare from U T MD Anderson in Houston where I am being treated. It looks like they are studying my entire food history. Lunch
A good friend (high school classmate) had endo cancer the same time as me. We supported each other as she went through chemo for endo ca and me for breast cancer. Now that we're both back to our relatively normal selves, we thought it would be fun to have lunch with some of our other classmates (women only, of course).…

Question about endometrial carcinoma grade 1
I'm new here...I joined this network because my mom was recently diagnosed with endometrial carcinoma (grade 1); she had a full hysterectomy almost 2 weeks ago.
