support for prostatectomy
Hi everyone, I have recently been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of 17.2 PSA; Gleason score of 6; 0.33 PSA density. Due to high level of PSA, my doctor recommends a quick prostatectomy. Unfortunately, the procedure isn't done in my country, Ethiopia. I can't afford to travel to get the procedure done. Is there anything I…

Unsure of what's next
Hello and thank you in advance for your input. I wish that I had found this group earlier. I am 55 years old and in good shape. In April of 2021, my PSA was 1.7. I remain clear of GIST 10 years after having a soft tissue sarcoma removed from my duodenum. Clear margins, all good so far on that front. Above said, I covered my recent MRI results with my…

Questions about rise in PSA
I had chemo, radiation and hormone treatment for prostate cancer in 2019 and 2020. Until today my psa had been at 0.01. Today was the 6 month mark from the last time it was checked and it was at 0.24. Is the cause for alarm? Thanks for any input and/or suggestions

For about 35 years, I took 50mg to 100 mg DHEA daily with good weight-lifting and sexual results. I am now 83 years old and again healthy and strong. Nov 10, 2022 my second and final 12 mo Lupron…
