brachythearpy and still catherizing after one year
Had a prostate size of 65mm. Took fenestride for 8mons to shrink prostate for brachythearpy. One year after procedeure I am unable to empty my bladder and must catherize 3 times a day a turp has been recommended is anyone experiencing similiar condition.

Hi , My Dad (68 yr old) got PSA of 74 and biopsy with Gleason Score of 3+4=7 .Report says Adenocarcinoma Prostrate and presence of perineural invasion with mild inflammation.Total linear mm of caricnoma is 99 mm .The proportion of total issue involved by tumour is 72%. AUS Update
I had an appointment at the U of MI this morning and Dr. Latini is going forward with surgery. I should get a date tomorrow. The recall on the AUS was lifted last week. The time was perfect. Dr. Latini cautioned me that many men even after getting an AUS installed still have to wear a pad or two a day. Finally!!
