Posssible Pca recurrence after RRP
I had LRP in January of 2008 with one positive surgical margin. My first 3 month PSA was .07. The next two were .02. After one year it is .09. I am seeing my Uro tomorrow for advice. Just found out I have prostate cancer gleason level 3, age 62 have had colon surgery 6 years ago and for some reason can't do robot. Will the seeds eventually cause permanent impontency? Has anyone beat this thing with diet and excerise?

Adjuvant radiation therapy after radical prostectomy
I have stage T3b prostate ca with a gleason score of 7 , the seminal vesicles also had cancer in them. I had a radical prostatectomy 2 weeks ago. If my 6 week PSA is not low I will need radiation. Post op Incontinence
I'm 51 and I was diagnosed on 1/23/09. I had the robotic procedure on 3/03/09. I had the staples and catheter removed on 3/10/09. Only issue since has been with incontinence. Can anybody offer insight? Thanks!

Just found out last night
I found out last night I have PC. I am 54, never been sick,was a weight lifter,natural, no steroids, my PSA was 4.52. My biopsy showed one sample of twelve taken to be 25% involved. All the others were normal. Gleason is 3+3=6. Dr recommends robotics,I have Kaiser. They can send my for surgery in 5-6 weeks. All to fast.…

I am about to join a clinical trial on a drug called everolimus (rad001). It is a drug now given to advanced renal cell cancer patients. It is hoped that it will slow the progression of prostate cancer. Is anyone out there familar with this drug and the possible side effects.

post surgery pain
I had a radical perineal prostatectomy Sep 2008. Since the operation, I’ve experienced pain and a burning sensation in the area where the incision was made. Relief from the pain is accomplished by sitting in a recliner with my legs elevated and pain pills. Anyone else had this problem?

Agent Orange, Vietnam Veterans
If you served in South Vietnam and have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, you are eligible for VA disability benefits. There is a presumption the cancer was caused by Agent Orange. Just need to provide documentation of cancer diagnosis and service in country.

Incontinence after External Radiation Therapy
I am about to undergo a full course of External Radiation Therapy. My PSA has climbed again after having been at 0 for over 2 years since my RP. Any experience, suggestions anyone might have had with intcontinence after Radiation Therapy? Your input would be great. Thanks.
