went to dr and since july psa went from 3.5 to 8.5 now he feels something on rectal exam that was not there in july.he put me on cosadex and need to get new cat scan and bone scan.anybody know if there anyplace to get help with cost of casodex one month supply $500 only on social security.anybody else have similar problem…

hi mark thanks again my bones were clear on bone scan only seen one lymph node lareger than others on cat scan hormone all i have left never had any radiation never had anything but surgery hope you knoe of something else thaks again

newly diagnosed, metastasis
hi all my dad(51 yrs) has severe lower back pain and consulted the doctor. MRI and Bone scan suggests spread in bones from prostate. Waitin for biopsy result. I'm very scared. Reading about this in internet says the treatment is just palliative and not curative when spread. Is that true? I am from India.
