I have PC gleason 7(3+4) 2 of 12 sites and T2a. PSA 3.5 in 2004 now 7.8. considering external radiation vs. surgery. seeds not recommended by rad. onco. as have weak stream for 5+ years & getting worse. Incont is depressing to think about. How much does it restrict activities?

Recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. Biopsy showed 1 core in 12. Gleason of 3+3 stage T1a. Orig. urologist Dr. Reddy in Ca., have been referred to and have appt. with Dr. Fray Marshall in Atl. who I hear is great. All my research leads me to believe RP is the course for me. Any insights helpful.

When dicussing treatment options 3 yrs ago my Dr.said do the rp and I would see my grandaughter graduate in 15 years.I think this got my thinking off track.I thought I would be cured.I may still may make it-and he never said it would be easy.
