GOOD NEWS
No, my doctor hasn't called. I put in another call yesterday when I knew he'd be in the office. This is so out of character and, I feel, somewhat negligent. But on the bright side, I did get my results in the mail from my last CA125. IT'S 10!!!! That is down from 13 for the last several months. I am so happy and hope that…

elevated CA125...WORRIED
My CA125 has been below 30 since my surgery and chemo over a year ago. In middle of January it went to 31. Oncologist ran a new blood test as well as a cat scan. It shot up to 500. My cat scan does not show anything conclusive. I feel great. What does this mean? Does it mean the cancer is back? Can it go up to 500 and then…

Very good news yesterday from my onc, and interventional radiologist and onc nurse and nuclear radiologist (who were all on at one time, was I overwhelmed). Last Thursday's PET shows no cancer, and my CA125 is 6.0. Life is good, all praise to God. Through these last four years, with four major surgeries, almost two years…

I thought of small fruit baskets because I know good foods are important, but I would like advice from people who have had…

A simple question
Hi all, I hope all are well this week. I wanted to know if yellow skin and dark circles around the eye is common among cancer patients. My Mom's liver has just been checked and found to be o.k. but I see pronounced dark circles and I was just wondering if this has to do anything with this condition. Liz

THANK YOU!
My heartfelt thanks to all of you for putting this into perspective. Although I found some positive 'snippets' in the outcome of my visit, all of you gave me so many more that they far outweigh the negative. I certainly am looking forward to my daughter's wedding (regardless of all the hard work it requires!), as all of…

DR. APPOINTMENT
Well, I had my 8-hour doctor appointment yesterday. My CA125 went from 12 to 13 again - I suppose not a big jump, but would have preffered stable or down somewhat. He didn't detect anything on examination and, as I said before, nothing on the CT. He did say we could do a PET scan, but quite honestly it wouldn't show…
