Very high blood sugar with Carbotaxol?
I just took a look at the results of a blood test taken just before my 4th Carbotaxol infusion. My glucose was at 164 mg/dL. This is extraordinarily high for me. In my entire life, I've never tested over 99 before. What gives? Can Carbotaxol give me diabetes. I haven't heard anything from my medical oncologist about this,…

Question about biopsy
Hi My husband was just told that he had a 8 mm lung nodule with an FDG uptake of 3.7. The doctors are concerned that it is suspicious for cancer, either pancreatic which metastasized to the lung or a new cancer. They are suggesting a biopsy. Sore throat so soon? Location of symptoms? Sore throat remedies?
