Apr.06 on the x-ray, the doc noticed a nodule. CT scan confirmed that (there is 1.4cm nodule in my right lung) PET-scan said that they didnt find a cancer-like metabolism... that means its NOT cancerous? I repeated the CT-scan after 4 month and the results were the same(1.4cm nodule) What should I do next??? Leave it and…

Remission
My mother will be off chemo in a couple of weeks. As there is always a chance that cancer can return, I'm curious as to whether the survivors with cancer in remission are on any maintenance program - whether prescribed by doctors or not sanctioned by them. From Ernie's messages, I've gathered he still adheres to a…

Dietary Supplements Research
The research findings on the effectiveness and impact of dietary components can be conflicting and not transferrable to real-life humans that one doesn't know what to think (include me in that category). So far, a reputable cancer research supporter, American Institute of Cancer Research, has reported that there has been…

Chemo questions
My mom has been diagnosed with Stage IV NSCLC and her oncologist is suggesting a mild type of radiation due to her weakened heart and high blood pressure. The chemo is called "allymptal" I am not sure how to spell it. It is a treatment that takes 15 minutes and is given once every 3 weeks. We know she is terminal and this…
