Funny Story: Why I'm a Vegetarian.
My first marriage ended in divorce in the 1980's. (My Ex and I continued to share responsibilities for raising our children; now all grown.) I didn't have many dates. BUT it turned out that every woman who went out with me was a vegetarian! Since I was not a vegetarian at the time, any possible relationship never got off…

Baked potato
Since my posts have become quite depressing as of late I wanted to share a bit of good (or at least comical) news. Today David ate a baked potato in the hospital. I had a long talk with him last night as his PICC line continued to bleed and let him know if he wanted to continue to fight the beast that I was behind him, but…

One other question about scar tissue
So I can't really find any info on this and know that this group is the best to ask. I have read some threads where others have talked about fibrosis in the neck. Is that because of scar tissue? I think the point I'm getting is is it even valid for me to believe that this spot in my neck is scar tissue. It's small, hard…

1st Visit to a New Surgeon
I was successfully treated for a squamous cell carcinoma on the base of my tongue and tonsil wall (stage III) in 2009. Unfortunately in 2010 I developed osteoradionecrosis which has made the cancer and its treatment seem like a picnic in retrospect. I had about 4 inches of my lower left jaw bone resected in early September…
