Yep, I went back on Sunday. On Tuesday night/Wednesday morning I had a little pukefest, so at a reasonable hour Kathy called the home health nurse (Julie) to tell her that I would be putting off that days chemo treatment. Good thing we called. No one have the home IV service had told Julie, so even though Kathy had waited…

Carl is at Peace
I come with a heavy heart today to let you know at 5:06 p.m. last night I watched my husband take his final breaths. With Inger sitting right next to him and me across the room by the window. I know time heals, I know he is no longer in pain from this awful disease, but that alone doesn't take away the great pain I feel.…

the multidisciplenary team of the future, do you think this would be an improvement ?
just my opinion, but if they added a functional gp, and a naturopath , a chinese herbalist and a massage therapist then I would like to think they could get better results for the 60-70% that don't make it in the study mentioned below. If you read the full study carefully you will see hyperthermia and the netherlands…

Pete. You mentioned zinc on another thread. Would taking cimetadine (sp?) Still be useful if it changes stomach acid, which would change zinc levels, which would hinder absorption of nutrients. Sorry, long question. Was wondering your thoughts on this. Maybe if the right dosages are used it would be ok. Do you still take…

Is Liver Surgery for CRC mets actually as succesful as claimed.?
I'm having some difficulty with the statistics presented to show liver surgery as being so much better in terms of patient longevity than no surgery. here's why - I have looked over many studies including studies in which Y Fong of MSKCC participited. In choosing patients fit for surgery it seems only the subset of…

This post is a followup to a post by Gabrielle (loveandhope). posting new so as not to get buried...
